Seaweed
Baths
Enniscrone's
famous seaweed baths have attracted people to Enniscrone
since the middle of the 19th Century. Kilcullen's Bath House
opened in June 1912 and is the last remaining original seaweed
bath house in Ireland. The original Edwardian baths and
fittings combine to give the bather a feel for the simple
elegance of a bygone age.

by the Kilcullen family the Bath House is an enduring testament
to the popularity of Seaweed Baths.
You can enjoy Hot Sea Water, Seaweed and Steam
Health Baths which have been described by the thousands

Waterpoint
& Diamond Leisure Club
Waterpoint
and The Diamond leisure Club is a popular all-weather Aqua
Centre and Gym providing entertainment for adults and children
alike throughout the year. Waterpoint is open seven days
a week, 12 months of the year, offering a fun day out for

Boat
Angling
Killala Bay is one of the prime fishing locations in Ireland,
with a vast variety of fishing and species available. Boats
can be chartered form the pier during the summer months.
Also availabe are the very popular mackeral trips on which
many visitors to Enniscrone caught their first fish. These
trips leave the pier daily at 3.00pm, 4.30pm, 6.00pm and
7.30pm. further infomation can be got at the pier.

Fishing
The pier is a great place for the beginner. There are
usually mackerel in the summer, with small wrasse, pollack,
cod, whiting also available. Conger eels are also often
caught close to the edge. Feathers or spinners are the
best way to catch mackerel. |

Enniscrone boasts a wonderful 3 mile long, gently
sloping beach which is great for flatfish and bass.
Local knowledge can be very helpful.

The world famous Moy River enters killala bay on the west
side of Enniscrone beach, here, fishing in the estuary can
produce an abundance of Sea Trout using sandeel, mackeral
strip, fly or spinnig.Other species like flounder and Bass
are also available.

The
Seventh Wave Surf School
learn
to surf with a irish surfing association qualified and approved
surf school. the whole family can experience the thrill
of surfing in a pristine gentle sloping beach. The Seventh
Wave Surf School is based in Enniscrone and Easkey.
