Easkey Bridge

Built in 1847 after the old bridge was washed away 1844. The Bullance stone, built into the bridge wall is a symbolic drinking trough, which qualified the village to hold a "Fair Day". The water is reputedly a cure for warts. Hangings took place at the bridge in the 19th century.

The Abbey.

The abbey is situated in the center of the village, some graves date back to the 18th century, the graveyard round the abbey was in use up until Roslee cemetary opened in 1888.
The grounds can be viewed, by obtaining the key from Forde's shop in the village.

Roslee Castle


Built in 1207 and was a home of the O' Dowd Chieftians of Tireragh, is situated beside the pier in Easkey, and is a promienent landmark in West Sligo.
The castle stands 63 feet, and the highest point is known as the "Sailors bed".

The Split Rock

The split rock is an Erratic left after the ice age. Local legend holds that the rock was split as a result of an argument between two giants, one of whom was Fionn MacCool.
It is said that the rock will close if one walks through the split 3 times.It is situated in Killeenduff on the Easkey/ Dromorewest road.

Black's Graveyard

Killeenduff which translates as Black Church ,is located on the Easkey/ Dromore West road near the National School.On the 1837 map it was called "Black's Graveyard.

Little remains of this church and graveyard today, but can be found on Discovery Map 24 as being in Killeenduff townland, Easkey parish coordinates 400/373.A former priest, Father Tom Sweeney placed a marker on the site.
