This walk starts in the village beside the old mill and continues along the river to the sea, which is three kilometres long. There is a picnic area about half way down the walk. It is fenced on both sides with safe plastic coated wire. This is a beautiful scenic walk, which includes many scenic areas such as a waterfall, an old mill and a wooded area.

Lough Easkey is located eleven kilometres from the village at the foot of the
ox-mountains This is very beautiful lake and attracts a lot of tourists.

The lake now supplies water to most of West Sligo from Enniscrone to Beltra. It is one of the best water schemes in Europe.
