"Ulysses"

The Transition Year Students of Jesus & Mary Secondary School, Enniscrone will be performing the brilliant "Ulysses" on the 24th and 25th January 2007. It is a comical tale of adventure, which follows the lost but brave Greek hero, "Ulysses" as he sets out to return home to Easkey and his beloved Penelope. Entry is €5, doors open at 7.30pm and curtains up at 8.00pm sharp. A great night of enterainment is assured for all the family. See you there!!

 

Culleens/Kilglass Ladies Association

On 7th February 2007, the Ladies Association will be hosting a Garden Information night with demonstrations and talks by Horkans Garden Centre. Admission cost will be €5.00. All are welcome.

On 13th February there will be a talk and demostration of beauty products by Siobhan Sutherland of "Escape" Enniscrone. All are welcome.

The Ladies Association was formed in 2005 to provide a social, educational and support network for the women of the area. The aims of the Association are:

1. To engage in projects including forums, discussions etc. which will broaden the members experiences.

2. To create an environment of support and encouragement where members can safely share their concerns and help each other to find solutions.

3. To help form ties and friendships between members through shared interests and common goals.

4. To create a network dedicated to providing opportunities and skills for it's members.

Since it's formation, members have enjoyed Speakers and Demonstrations on a wide range of topics including beauty and healthcare, cookery, legal matters and CPR. We have also run a Slimming Club and hope to offer an Interior Design Course soon to our members. So if you are interested, please come and join us in The Hilltop, Culleens.

We meet on Wednesday nights at 8.30pm. Our next meeting is on 7th February 2007.
