The MacFirbis Centre

This centre is one of the areas most important venues and has hosted many activities form computers to art summer camps.It has played a vital role in the Cross Border programmes in recent years.

The centre boasts a lively interior which includes: A computer facility, Kitchen, Table tennis tables,Music mixing centre and many instruments

Current events in the centre include

Table Tennis Club which meets on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm

Ladies social evenings which are also held on Tuesdays at 8.30pm where women can meet and have a chat or take part in craft or needle work.

Future events include

Childerns christmas party which takes place on the 21st December with a visit from Santa.

Annual Mothers Union Potluck Supper on the 18th of January.

The Annual Church of Ireland Social which is a fundraiser for the running of the centre will be held on the 27th of December 2005 in the Benbulben Hotel Enniscrone, with a Live Band, Admission 10 Euro.
