The first achievement for the parish at the national finals came in 1993, when the U-16 girls team won silver medals in the Table Tennis event. The team comprised of: Sharon, Marie and Grainne Barrett (Tullylinn), Pamela Cawley (Attychree), and Elaine Cawley (Cloonkeelane).
The next achievement in Mosney came in 1995 when Siobhain McGuinness ( Newtown ) won a bronze medal in the U-10, 200 meters.
Further medals at the National finals followed: In 2001, Patrick Clarke (Killanley) won a bronze medal in Grass cycling. The following year Patrick went on to take the silver medal in the Grand Prix cycling event.
In 2002 also, Kevin Mc Donnell (Tullylinn) took home a gold medal in the U-8, 80 meters.
In 2003, Matthew Hallinan (Attychree) was awarded a gold medal in the U-10 Art competition.
Castleconnor have also won the Junior Chamber Parade trophy on 4 occassions: 1991, 1993, 1995, and 2001.
