| The
founding of St. Farnan's in 1964 signalled a new dawn
for the footballers with the amalgamation of the Parishes
of Templeboy and Dromore West. St. Farnan's Community
Park was acquired in 1981. St. Farnan's GAA club have
teams playing at every level from U10 up to Intermediate
Level and Ladies GAA have teams at U12, U4 and U16
level. A full programme of training, challenge games
and competitions starts in early February of each
year. |

This
was set up in 1994 to develop and
enhance the area.

West I.C.A.

| The
I.C.A. was set up in the late 1960's. The committee
organise different courses for women in the community
e.g. Computer, Art and Craft, Women's Health. They
also organise tours. Thhe committee have their monthly
meeting in Dromore West Community Centre. |

West Support Group for the North West Hospce: |
| Templeboy/Dromore
West North West Hospice Committee was set up to raise
funds for the North West Hospice in Sligo. The committee
hold a dance in November each year. They also sell
Christmas Cards in the community. |
